Subject: 'I Am - Very Present Help'

Objective: To stimulate a greater awareness of God's help.

Note: During our fiery trials, it is sometimes difficult to believe our God is present. The scripture says He is a very 'present' help in trouble. He is not 'I was' or 'I will be', He still the 'I am'.

1. How did God manifest His continuous presence to His people? Exodus 13: 2 - 4, & 19 - 22

2. How did the Psalmist echo this same sentiment? Psalm 46: 1, Psalm 139: 7 -12

3. What were the questions to the false prophets in Jeremiah's days? Jeremiah 23: 23 - 24. Will the disobedient escape His notice? Amos 9: 2 -4

4. Are the obedient comforted by God's presence, how? Isaiah 41: 10 - 14, Matthew 14: 22- 33

5. How did Christ assure His followers of His presence as they fulfill their comission? Matthew 28: 19 -20; was Paul left alone to fear? Acts 18: 9 - 10
