Objective: To remind the brethren of the privilege and benefits of living in His presence.
1. How important is it to abide in Christ? John 15: 4 – 5, Philippians 1: 9 – 11
2. How can we prove that we are abiding in Him? 1 John 2: 3 – 6, John 15: 10
Note: If we say we are abiding in Him, we are to walk even as He walked. It is an obligation, not an option.
3. What is the privilege that we have when we stay in Him and what is the result? John 15: 7 & 16, John 14: 13 - 14
4. Is abiding in Him dependent on obedience to His words? John 14: 23 - 24

Note: The step from fruit to more fruit involves pruning (cleansing) through the word of God, and the step from more fruit to much fruit involves a life of answered prayers.
