Nov 28, 2020

Subject: Continual Consecration

Scripture Reading: 1 Thessalonians 4: 1 - 12

Memory Verse: 1 Thessalonians 4: 7

Objective: To implore the learner to become and remain consecrated.

1. After Hezekiah re-established worship in the temple, what were the people commanded to do? 2 Chronicles 29: 27

2. How are we called to consecrate our lives daily? Romans 12: 1 – 3; 1 Thessalonians 4: 3 – 6

3. How does Peter admonish us to carry out daily consecration? 1 Peter 2: 5, Colossians 3: 16

Note: A continual consecration DOES NOTmean that we mess up our lives daily and each evening we run to God for pardon. It simply means that in our actions, whether secular or spiritual, God's ways should be manifested and the beauty of Jesus should be highly recognized.

4. What should we offer to God continually? Hebrews 13: 15; and how do we show that we are constantly living the consecrated life? Luke 22: 27; Philippians 2: 5 – 7

5. How does Christ say we prove to Him that we are consecrated to His service? Matthew 11: 29; Luke 14: 33

6. How are the consecrated expected to walk? 1 John 2: 6; 1 Corinthians 6: 19 – 20

Note: When we are living the daily consecrated life, our strength, time and means must be dedicated to His service.

7. What will we say to God when we are truly consecrated? Isaiah 6: 8

Note: To be always ready for service is one proof that we are consecrated. Let us have God's business at heart.
