Objective: To sensitize the brethren of the importance of doing the right thing.
Note: Although not perfect, King Hezekiah and King Josiah pleased God by passionately doing what needed to be done.
1. How old was Hezekiah when he was made king and how early in his reign did he begin restoration in Jerusalem? 2 Chronicles 29: 1 – 3; and what similar record is there of Josiah? 2 Chronicles 34: 1 – 3
2. Where and with whom did cleansing and restoration begin? 2 Chronicles 29: 4 – 5, 34: 3 – 7
3. When both spiritual and physical houses are cleansed, what usually follows? 2 Chronicles 29: 20 – 29, 35: 14 – 18
4. What is God’s recipe for restoration then and now? 2 Chronicles 7: 14, James 4: 10
