Subject: Live the Change
Scripture Reading: Acts 9: 1 – 18
Memory Verse: 2 Corinthians 5: 17
Objective: To bring awareness to the impact of meeting Jesus.
1. What life of infamy did the apostle Paul live before his encounter with Jesus? Acts 7: 57 – 58; 9: 1 – 4
2. After meeting Jesus, how did Paul see himself, regard previous accomplishments and what was his new goal? Philippians 3: 4 – 14
Note: After an encounter with Jesus, the ‘real you’ will be revealed by the disturbance of your conscience. Your vision will become clear, and your focus will shift to a more meaningful outcome.
3. How are believers instructed to stand and encouraged to walk in Ephesians 4: 1 – 3, 17 & 18; 1 Corinthians 2: 4 – 5?
4. What envelops this changed life? 2 Corinthians 4: 1 – 11
5. How is being lukewarm described and what is said of returning to the old life? Revelation 3: 15 – 16; 2 Peter 2: 20 & 22; Proverbs 26: 11
Conclusion: Your meeting with the Messiah is not a coincidence, but a deliberate effort to get your attention. As He knocks at your heart's door let Him in and experience the new birth and rise to walk in the newness of life.
