Memory Verses: Romans 5: 10
Objective: To stimulate an awareness of the importance of reconciliation.
1. State the consequence of man’s disobedience and what was later revealed to Daniel? Genesis 3: 22 – 24; Daniel 9: 24
2. Through whom is reconciliation made and what message of entreaty does He send? Romans 5: 10; Colossians 1: 20; 2 Corinthians 5: 20
3. Identify the reason for one to accept the message of reconciliation? Isaiah 53: 5; 1 Peter 2: 24
4. What was God’s action towards fallen man? 2 Corinthians 5: 18 & 19
Note: God loves us with an everlasting love. We all deserved to die, but He spared us by allowing His only Son to suffer instead. As a mark of appreciation, we should live a holy and acceptable life.
5. Was it only Adam and Eve who turned away from God? Isaiah 53:6
6. Why has Christ reconciled us (both Jews and Gentiles)? Colossians 1: 21 – 22
7. Being so graciously reconciled, what is expected of us now? 2 Corinthians 5: 18 – 20
Note: God expects everyone whom He has specially called, to go out and entreat others to surrender to Him. All of us have a responsibility to win souls for the Kingdom either directly or indirectly.
