Objective: To impress on our minds how vital it is for us to know Him (Jesus) for ourselves.
1. Was Martha totally aware of who Jesus was? John 11: 23 - 27

3. Knowing who Jesus is, is undoubtedly the difference between life and death. How does the scripture support this truth? Luke 23: 39 - 43
4. After having the privilege of seeing and hearing Jesus, the two disciples were left with one option. Can we identify it? John 1: 35 - 37. Similarly, Nathanael at first was skeptical, but having met Jesus, what was his testimony? John 1: 45 - 49
5. After some went back on the confession of their faith and the Saviour questioned the remaining twelve as to their intentions, what conscious statement did Peter make? John 6: 67 - 69

Note: Coming to Christ is the first step, but we must get to know Him for ourselves and develop a personal relationship with Him. When we come face to face with Him and are truly convinced that He is Christ, the Son of the living God, come what may, we will remain with Him, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
