Objective: To encourage messengers to be resolute in delivering what “thus saith the Lord”.


1. How were the men who cited their lack of eloquence commissioned and prepared to deliver God’s divine words? Exodus 4: 10 – 12, Jeremiah 1: 6 – 10


2. What should be the messengers’ only concern after receiving instructions from God? Ezekiel 3: 7 – 9 & 17, Acts 7: 51 – 52, 57 – 60


3. How well did our brother Paul understand the gravity of delivering what was given him? 1 Corinthians 9: 16, and how did God Himself spell this out for Ezekiel in chapter 33: 6 and Jeremiah 1: 17?


4. How do scriptures prove that this is not a job for the faint of heart? Amos 7: 10 - 17, Jeremiah 20: 7 - 10, 37: 11 - 15, 38: 4 - 6


5. Why should God’s messengers not fear the people? Jeremiah 1: 8 – 10; Ezekiel 3: 8 – 11
