Scripture Reading: Isaiah 55

Objective: This lesson serves to implore us to embrace all the wonderful utterances from our loving and merciful Father.

1. How should we view ourselves after reading these scriptures? Psalm 139: 4; 1 Peter 2: 9

2. God never leaves a project unfinished. What proof do we have to support this statement? Philippians 1: 6, Psalm 138: 8

3. What is our God able to do for us? Ephesians 3:20; Jude 24

4. How are we comforted by both Paul and David? Philippians 4: 13 & 19; Psalm 37: 25, Psalm 34: 22

5. Can we safely say that we are not here by accident but by design? Jeremiah 29: 11 – 13

6. When we feel forsaken, what sweet assurance comes to us from God? Isaiah 54: 5 & 6

7. In this Christian pathway a lot of things will come up in an effort to destroy us, but can they prevail? Isaiah 54: 17

Note: Everyone likes to hear nice and soothing words, but often times that is all they turn out to be, when spoken by men. However, when God says something, we can take it to the bank and cash it for it certainly will not bounce. As the statement goes, “God said it, I believe it and that settles it for me.”

8. What other conclusive proof can we examine to further cement our beliefs in all that our God says? Numbers 23: 19
