Objective: To impress on our minds how vital it is for us to know Him (Jesus) for ourselves.

1. Was Martha totally aware of who Jesus was? John 11: 23 - 27

2. When Jesus asked the spokesman, Peter, who He was, how did he respond? Matthew 16: 13 - 17

4. After having the privilege of seeing and hearing Jesus, the two disciples were left with one option. Can we identify it? John 1: 35 - 37. Similarly, Nathanael at first was skeptical, but having met Jesus, what was his testimony? John 1: 45 - 49

5. After some went back on the confession of their faith and the Saviour questioned the remaining twelve as to their intentions, what conscious statement did Peter make? John 6: 67 - 69

6. The preacher of the Gentiles, understanding the seriousness of knowing who Jesus is, made what prayer on behalf of the saints? Ephesians 3: 14 - 19

7. When we get to know Christ, we just cannot keep Him to ourselves. What message did the woman of Samaria run with? John 4: 25 – 29

Note: Coming to Christ is the first step, but we must get to know Him for ourselves and develop a personal relationship with Him. When we come face to face with Him and are truly convinced that He is Christ, the Son of the living God, come what may, we will remain with Him, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
