Objective: To remind the brethren of the challenges on the road to eternal life.
1. How unusual was Joseph's life of purpose? Genesis 37: 3 - 4, 23 - 28
2. How could Joseph's pit or valley experience be considered, as continuous bitterness or purposeful learning? Genesis 39: 2 - 6, 20 - 23, 40: 8 - 15
3. What assurance do we have that trying circumstances in life, will never place us outside of God's love? Romans 8: 35- 37
4. After such difficult experiences, what is recorded about the next chapter of Joseph's life? Genesis 41: 9 - 16, 25, 27 - 46
Note: As we traverse the route to the kingdom of God, wew must expect to encounter trials. We weren't promised an easy journey, but a great destination.
5. What is Jeremiah's lamentation at such point in his life? Jeremiah 15: 15 - 18, and how did Job bemoan his time of prolonged trial? Job 16: 6 -14
6. As we walk in God's will, what confirmation do we have that our trials build and prepard us for greated blessings? Lamentations 3: 31 - 33; Romans 8: 27 - 28
