Objective: To teach us to wait with a purpose.

 

1. As demonstrated in the parable of the virgins, what two categories of believers will be anticipating the bridegroom’s arrival? And what separates the foolish from the wise? Matthew 25: 1 – 4


2. In a time of temporary spiritual inactivity, much like the present time, what does Matthew 25: 5 suggest is likely to happen?


3. ‘The oil’ which represents our spiritual fortitude and stamina is necessary at this time. What did the foolish find out and what was their fate? Matthew 25: 6 – 12


4. What does the prophet Amos say about the end time? Amos 8: 11, Philippians 2: 12 – 13, Ephesians 4: 17 – 20 & 2 Peter 3: 17 – 18


5. How can we maintain our spiritual focus and help others to do the same in this time? Ephesians 5: 14 – 21, Colossians 1: 9 - 13


6. What reminder comes to us from 1 Corinthians 10: 1 – 11 & Hebrews 2: 1 – 3?
