Why Will You Die?
Subject: Why Will You Die?
Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 33: 10 - 20
Memory Verses: Ezekiel 33: 10 - 11
Objective: To emphasize that divine teaching, preaching, and invitation have been extended, and our response before God now matters.
1. How does the covenant-keeping God of mercy and grace continue to invite His wayward children back into His outstretched arms? Ezekiel 33: 10 - 11
2. What age-old prayer was made for us by Solomon regarding forgiveness and restoration? 2 Chronicles 6: 32 - 33
3. Identify the approach given in 2 Chronicles 7: 14 that encourages spiritual renewal. Should any part of this four-pronged process be ignored?
4. What impassioned cry did the psalmist make? Psalm 130: 1 - 4
5. Drowning both spiritually and literally, from where did Jonah make one such plea? Jonah 2: 1 - 7
Note: The many preaching, encouragements, testimonies, and examples that are before us is a testament to the mercy and grace of God. We have witnesses alive now who are still standing in faith regardless of the challenges they have already faced. Let us be intentional in seeking God. Cry out to Him from a sincere heart, putting our whole self into His capable hands. Do NOT be careless and perish.
6. What knowledge is important as we approach God for restoration? Psalm 51: 6 - 12; And how were those who continue to live in denial reproved? Psalm 50: 16 - 22
7. As we close another lesson, what invitation is still being offered? Romans 8: 15, Hebrews 4: 14 - 16
