Creation Reflects God

Objective: To understand that God's creation reflects his power.
Warm Up:
The Bible tells us in Psalm 19:1 that “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim his handiwork.” This means that God created everything we see around us! He is an amazing artist, and everything he creates has a purpose. How do you react to handmade gift
Questions
What do the heavens declare? Psalm 19:1
What do the firmament (the skies) proclaim? Psalm 19:1
What do the skies pour forth day after day and what does night after night reveal? Psalm 19:2
In verse 3 nature communicates its beauty without speech. What does that tell us about the beauty of nature? Psalm 19:3
To what is God’s creation compared? Psalm 19: 5
Note: God has made the earth and everything in it. Like a handmade gift designed for a specific purpose. He has created all things with love and precious meaning. Everything in nature (beautiful plants, animals, seasons, the weather), everything is handmade by God for specific purposes and he has given us all things to enjoy and take care of. Looking at his creation should make us remember and celebrate God’s awesome power! If the sun and stars are singing praises to God’s glory, how much more should we? Think About It: What are some ways in which you can start to celebrate God’s awesome power?
