Jesus Knows and Cares for Us

Subject: Jesus Knows and Cares for Us

Scripture: John 10:11–15

Memory Verse: John 10:11, 15

Objective: To show that Jesus loves and cares for each of us like a Good Shepherd.

Warm Up

Who do you trust most to take care of you, and why? What makes someone a good protector or guide? Think about how it feels when someone truly understands you and wants the best for you.

Questions

  1. What does Jesus declare Himself as?  John 10:11

  2. What does a good shepherd do for his sheep? John 10:11

  3. How is Jesus different from a hireling who doesn’t own the sheep? John 10:12–13

Note: A hired worker may run away when danger comes, but Jesus stays with us and defends us because we belong to Him.

4.     How does Jesus describe His relationship with His sheep? John 10:14

Note: He knows us personally, just like He knows the Father, and we are meant to know and follow Him in return.

5.     What does this passage teach us about our value to Jesus? John 10:15

Conclusion

Jesus is not just a leader; He is a loving protector who truly knows and values each of us. When we feel lost, uncertain, or afraid, we can trust Him to guide us. Unlike others who may fail us, Jesus never runs away. He stays, He saves, and He leads. Let’s choose to listen to His voice and follow Him as our Good Shepherd every day.
