Hold On! Help Will Come

Subject: Hold On! Help Will Come

Scripture Reading: Acts 27: 14 - 41

Memory Verse: Hebrews 1: 14

Objective: To remind believers that our help is ever present.

Note: The path of a believer in Christ is full of challenges. Jesus called it a strait way. With every obstacle comes deliverance, believe God and wait for it, He will show up.

1.     Against his better judgment, what harrowing circumstances did Paul find himself in? Acts 27: 14 - 24

2.     What is said of God's sovereign control over winds and His faithfulness to His children in times of peril? Acts 27: 20 - 25

3.     With renewed assurance and bolstering confidence, how was this prisoner able to still the crew members? Acts 27: 25 - 36

4.     In his exhortation to the Corinthian brethren, what did Paul ask them to share? 2 Corinthians 1: 1 - 7

5.     God's messengers are often sent to enlighten, deliver, or strengthen. What did one such angel do for a troubled Joseph? Matthew 1: 19 - 25; And an imprisoned Peter? Acts 12: 1 - 9

Note: Whether it's deliverance from certain death Daniel 6: 22 or divine guidance, help will come for the faithful. Be encouraged: in every spiritual storm, your angel will show up.

6.     What is the primary role of these angels? Hebrews 1: 14
