Objective: To encourage a deep expectancy for the eternal home awaiting all PREPARED and FAITHFUL believers.

1. Jesus, before His departure, made mention of a ‘home of the soul.’ What was said according to John 14: 2 - 3, and how does Revelation 21: 1 - 3 concur with this?

2. How does Revelation describe this home and who will enter? Revelation 21: 10 - 23 & 27

3. What current lifestyles, that easily beset believers, need to change to dwell in this home of the soul? 1 Corinthians 6: 9 - 10

4. In the parable of Lazarus and the rich man, how were their lives contrasted:

(a) In life (Luke 16: 19 - 21)

(b) In death (Luke 16: 22)

(c) In eternity (Luke 16: 23)

5. The parable of Lazarus and rich man shows the reality that awaits the prepared and unprepared person. How was this highlighted in Luke 16: 25? Additionally, what caution comes to us from Matthew? Matthew 6: 19 – 21

Note: Each believer has his or her own individual account in heaven. It is our priority to deposit into our accounts all the things needed to qualify us to pass through the gate into that holy city. As such, our lives should reflect Christ, from our deeds and words through to our meditation.

6. There is a BETTER place that guarantees rest, peace and comfort for believers. How are we reminded to avoid coming short of this promise? Hebrews 4: 1 - 3 & 9 - 11; and what accompanies this promise? Revelation 21: 4

7. What qualifies believers to be products of this promised eternal home? Matthew 7: 21, and what is the will of the Father for believers? Titus 2: 11 - 13 & Revelation 22: 14
