Objective: To let us know that 99 ½% will not do, God will only accept wholehearted service.

Note: As the saying goes, “We are not just talk but substance,” the complete sacrifice takes a lot. The choices we make, such as the places we go, the things we speak, our appetite, dress code, entertainment, hobbies, bedroom activities etc. testify on our behalf. Many of us are weighed in the balance and found woefully lacking. How much time do we spend engaged in righteousness per day? Are we too busy to pray a meaningful prayer, read a passage of scripture? Careless souls, pleasure seekers, heed the warning. We cannot have the best of both worlds.
